Energy efficient IT is in.
Suddenly (finally?) it’s cool to take climate and energy seriously. And while it’s probably true that some vendors’ enthusiasm may be related to the marketing value of being seen to be green, they’re making real advances in energy efficient technology. So cynic or believer; whether you’re trying to save the planet or just trying to save your business money, the business case for greening your IT infrastructure can be compelling.
