Time zone change may snarl XP SP3

clockface-120.jpgAccording to a post from Microsoft’s TechNet forums, those trying out the latest Windows XP service pack have discovered it won’t automatically “spring ahead” along with all the other clocks and timepieces you had to adjust on Saturday night. Instead, Microsoft decided to hold off on adding time-zone updates until about the time SP3 goes live, which will be in the first half of this year. The Daylight Saving Time fix will probably be included as part of a Windows Update that will be released around the same time.
