Asus adds XP to Eee PC
Asus recently chose CeBIT to launch a new version of its Asus Eee PC pre-installed with Windows XP. Previous versions used Xandros, the Linux distribution started out of Ottawa, but Asus has indicated the more familar XP interface will offer better integration with other applications. No word on a Vista version, but given that this is a subnotebook line, perhaps XP helps keep the costs down.
The machine will include Microsoft Works and built-in access to Windows Live.

I am more than desapointed using the nice Eee. I tought the windows was installed or at least in the box…no I paid enough money to have better product! Why the cd Windows is not in the box? I do not like the installed program. If I was planning to have a different type of pc ok bu I was just real desapointed and I dont use it is in a corner of my desk.
