D-Link Canada has announced a proggram to introduce businesses to the benefits of wireless. Under the Wireless Test Drive program, companies will receive a D-Link DWS-3026 wireless switch and two wireless access points to build a wireless network within the company. After the evaluation period, if companies decide to keep the switch, D-Link will give them the access points for free.
Users will also have free access to D-Link staff of sales engineers for support.
The D-3026 has combo fibre optic ports for optional 10-gigabit Ethernet connection, and supports power over Ethernet. The switch has 24 gigabit Ethernet ports capable of connecting to wireless access points or to wired local area network devices like servers, storage and switches.
